Galloping Goose Regional Trail

It was a perfect day to go for a walk on the Goose 🙂 . It was sunny, but there was a nice breeze to keep us feeling slightly cool.

Quite often, when I was younger, I used to walk, bike, and roller blade along the Galloping Goose. The trail was just behind our old house, so it was easy to go on strolls during any time of the year. Some of my best memories are from this place, and coming back always reminds me of the times shared with my parents and siblings.

The Galloping Goose Regional Trail starts just before the Sooke Potholes and ends in downtown Victoria by the Johnson Street bridge. There’s so much to see – greenery, small lakes, and streams. It’s all really beautiful 🙂 . You’ll see plenty of joggers, cyclists, and wanderers along the way too.

Oh and if you enjoy blackberry picking during the summer months, then you would love coming here 🙂 . There’s an abundance of berries during the summer, yum!!
